Can you repair trailers that have been in accidents?

Accident damage is a significant part of our repair work. We carry out structural assessments, scope the full extent of the damage, and provide detailed repair reports that can be submitted to insurance assessors. We work directly with insurance companies on repair authorisation where required.

Do you handle insurance repair assessments and quotes?

Yes. We provide written repair assessments and quotations for insurance claims on semi-trailers. We're experienced in preparing the level of detail insurers require, and we can communicate directly with assessors to move the process along.

How long do repairs take?

This depends on the extent of the damage and parts availability. We provide a realistic timeframe when we quote the job. We don't give optimistic estimates — we'd rather be accurate upfront than have to revise a completion date later.

My trailer has had previous repairs carried out by another workshop. Will that affect what you can do?

Not necessarily. We regularly work on trailers with repair histories we haven't been involved in. We assess the current state of the trailer and repair to current standards, noting any pre-existing issues in our documentation.

Can you refurbish older trailers to extend their working life?

Yes. Life-extension and refurbishment work is something we're well set up for. Depending on the trailer's condition and your intended use, a well-executed refurbishment can significantly extend its serviceable life at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
